    When I was leaving Galveston at 3:30 PM on Sunday, traffic was gridlocked on the Seawall so I dropped down to Stewart Road. Then when I was entering the Freeway I saw totally stopped, 3 lanes of traffic all the way back to the Causeway Bridge. They should have been going home, but they just kept a'comin.

    I went to walk the beAch on Friday morning... was pretty lonely but by around 1-2 a lot more people showed up..

    Fast forward to sat night, I saw the news and saw how packed Galveston was.
    People are dying to get out the house.
    Might come back to bite us

    Don't go this weekend. 45 both ways along with the feeder lanes will be closed at Vauthier for demolition of the overpass. All traffic will be diverted around La Marque.........gonna be a huge mess.
