Wow... trump not only has ducked paying numerous U.S. cities payments for costs incurred for trump political rallies, but it appears trump owes the bank of china millions as well... btw, this explains reports that say trump has been trying to get his campain people to avoid focusing on biden+china and instead focus on trump's successes re: COVID-19. Trump owes tens of millions to the Bank of China — and the loan is due soon The president's financial dealings with the state-owned bank complicate his attacks on Biden. https://www.politico.com/news/2020/04/24/trump-biden-china-debt-205475
I've been saying this for years that even if you think that the PRC is a modern day Nazi regime Trump isn't the person to count on to take them on. Everyone seems to forget this. ZTE was sanctioned for selling sensitive US technology yet Trump still lifted sanctions. He did so the same week that the PRC allowed several copyrights on Ivanka brands to proceed and invested half a billion into a Trump branded project in Indonesia. Practically every foreign boogeyman that haunt Trump supporter's nightmares Trump has sold out to. He sold out to the PRC, he sold out to Islamic extremist, and he's hired illegal aliens..
Trump's financial relationship w the Bank of China goes back to 1994, when he was under bankruptcy protection by US law http://bbs.clutchfans.net/index.php?threads/taiwan-numba-one.278895/page-14#post-10923901 In 1994, Trump was schooled by 2 HK real estate moguls w ties to the state-owned Bank of China http://www.nytimes.com/1994/07/15/business/how-the-chengs-finessed-trump.html?pagewanted=all (the ordeal / ass-kissing that Trump had endured to get this deal done) http://www.ejinsight.com/20160602-the-hong-kong-deal-that-turned-donald-trump-into-a-china-basher/ In 1994 Trump was on the verge of bankruptcy in the wake of the collapse of the US real estate market. A consortium of Hong Kong billionaires led by Henry Cheng and Vincent Lo came to his rescue. Cheng and Lo agreed to buy Trump's 77-acre property in New York City known as Riverside South, assume his debts and pay him 30 percent of the profits as well as fees for helping to manage the development of the site. To the extent that Trump had already spent huge $$$ developing the project which, at the time, was not yet profitable, the surrogates of the Bank of China got in at a bargain basement price. The project turned out to be very lucrative. After several years of profitability, in 2005, the Hong Kong businessmen sold the development for US$ 1.76 billion, at the time, the largest residential real estate transaction in New York. However, Trump was furious, saying his partners did not consult him first before selling the project. He sued them and demanded US$1 billion in damages. Trump lost the case in a NYC court, and had to accept a 30% share in the profits from the project. This deal also paved the way for Trump's future dealings w the state-owned Bank of China
Very American of him Stopped reading after : they lent him money he made money. That's literally what it says
let me put it in a way that even PGab would understand. Trump has been in bed w the state-owned Bank of China for over 25 yrs. quid pro quo, u scratch my back, i scratch yours. that's one of the reason the Carnival Barker doesn't want to release his tax return. in the midst of the so-called trade war w China, China was issuing Chinese copyrights / licenses to Trump (escort svc) and Ivanka
Comprised by being a businessman. Six years of inuendo. Dakota is a businessman. I can't trust him. Good lord. If a few loans go bad he has a sky scrapper
Horrible human being who deserves every single demon that haunts him while he sits alone with a remote control in bed for 13 hours a day.
So the Russian mob bailed him out through Deutsche Bank, and now we find out he's also financially beholden to the Chinese government. Awesome.
Don't forget, one is a corrupt, incompetent businessman that is our current president. @DaDakota is the opposite of that...
Very true and because of one particular German bank, not as a national underhanded policy, which is the case of Russia and China. Calling trump corrupt really seems inadequate. Despite this, and ignoring the facts, a minority of this country managed to help put him in office, and appears to believe anything that comes out of his mouth. What comes out of trump's mouth is edited and filtered through Fox News, for the sole purpose of Fox News profiting from carefully orchestrating trump's lies. Fox News knows they are lies, presents the lies and the bizarre conspiracy theories as "truth," and the nation's minority of trump supporters lap it up like dogs drinking out of a bowl of water.
Kind of yeah. Especially a non liquid businessman who is compromised because of financial leverage. Being president or serving as a senior elected official should have a requirement of no foreign business entanglements for many reasons. Trump is compromised and it’s painfully obvious. He simply cannot be trusted to be making decisions in America’s interest. And no if DD was a “businessman” who was non liquid owing vast sums of money to foreign governments you shouldn’t trust DD to be president and I’m sure @DaDakota would even agree to that. Doesn’t mean businessmen or women cannot be trusted in our daily lives but you cannot be trusted with conflicts of interest.
Yes there is... you can not be nominated to be president to begin with. It’s simple. The guy should never have been allowed to run. Look what a responsible party did when Michael Bloomberg decided to run. Who was the Elizabeth Warren of the GOP who said what everyone believes?
Watching the Dems try to not get out flanked ahead of the election on China is funny because they know they are about to get routed because Trump led trade war efforts to stand up against them when the Dems cried foul the entire time. Yall TDS types are acting hard on China way too late. Nice try to position yourselves for the coming tsunami of Republican votes because of the rising anti China sentiment. Where were some of yall before Corona Virus? Oh yeah, defending globalism and bashing Trump as a horrible nationalist Nazi for standing up to an enemy. Get lost TDS losers.
So you’re ok with Trump bending over for a country that I’m assuming you think deserves most of the blame for the current pandemic because Trump’s own government didn’t have enough supplies? And this is of course ignoring the fact that the US sent literally tons of PPE to China in February, which makes your answer even more ridiculous. So in January, Trump had to be nice to China to get PPE, then sent China PPE because, I don’t know, he has a tremendous brain, and then had to be nice again in March to get more PPE? Solid logic.
