Not nearly as odd as William S. Burroughs. I couldn't decide which was stranger.....the movie or the book. As weirdness goes, I think the movie paid great homage to the book......not that it followed it all that well (or could if it tried).

No....but I just looked it up on imdb.com. It looks awesome, and I've always had this "thing" for Bjork. I'll have to put an order in for the DVD.

I watched Wild Strawberries a few weeks ago and was very impressed. It was the first time watching a Bergman film. I saw Persona earlier tonight and was also impressed. Have you seen any of his other films and if so which one do you suggest i see next?

I like this film too. They are planning on releasing the Director's Cut in theaters this summer.

"Kelly states that the directors cut will be a substantial new version of the film that will clarify many things in the film as well expand the meaning of the film. Knowing that one of the great things about the flick is all of the unanswered question, Kelly states that not all of the questions will be answered, but some that weren't meant to be will and many more questions will arise from the new version. He also makes statements about re-scoring the film as well as expanding on some side characters that were simply cut for time"http://www.filmrot.com/articles/filmrot_news/004176.php

you and my wife! she freaking loves that movie.

i have a real hard time coming up with a list of 5....i can't compare a movie like Schindler's List or the Passion to Fletch or Caddyshack. I just can't do it. They're two entirely different experiences. I could break it down into categories, maybe....

UHF is a hilarious underrated flick starring Weird Al and Kramer (before he became Kramer). Weird Al takes over a bankrupt cable station and tries to turn things around by running all kinds of crazy programs.
