We got some young hitters ready to replace him.

Even if we have a slight offensive falloff, we still have Hampton,Reynolds and Lima so our pitching staff for the 2000 season should still be one of the best in baseball. The new ballpark should not effect too much in that regard.

I'm more surprised Rockhead's Tripod site still works.

I saw Lima practicing his Lima Time by banging on trash cans when opposing pitchers were pitching. It REALLY seems to motivate our batters because they seem to hit MUCH better when he does it!!!

They have so much pitching, they should trade Hampton for Roger Cedeno and Octavio Dotel before they move into Enron Field. Dotel is the next Pedro Martinez and Cedeno will be needed to get up and down that new Tal’s hill with regularity.

That's actually a perfect trade if we could pull it off. Pitching is our strength, and if we could use it to address current and future holes we should.

Cedeno looked like one of the best young CF's in baseball, and he would be a perfect replacement for Everett. With Dotel and Elarton, one of them is bound to be able to replace Hampton.

The Blue Jays want Elarton for Clemens?? Psshhh, why would be trade for a washed Roger Clemens (he's already 35!) when we have the next Roger Clemens already?

Elarton, Chris Holt, oh and our 20 game winner Lima. Yeah, I think we're aces high going into our new ballpark next year.

    Never saw one.

Get it right: They wanted Elarton and Hidalgo and then his agents, the Hendricks Brothers, wanted to re-do Roger's contract as a part of the trade. Gerry the Hun went completely ballistic at that point. I wish we could find that press conference.

The movie you're talking about is called "My Life," starring Michael Keaton.
