Along those same lines...I finished Big Little Lies, and in the 2nd season Meryl Streep plays the most ****ed up terrifying "old lady mom" that I've seen since The Sopranos. I was really surprised how much I liked that show, acting is great, beautifully filmed, great music, etc...
I saw Season 1 when they had it at the Redbox and really liked it. It was better than I expected. I really want to see Season 2, especially with Meryl Streep. She is one of my favorite actresses. I wish there was a cheaper way to watch it without adding HBO or paying like $24.95 or so on Amazon Prime.
Maybe I tried the wrong HBO channel, but it wouldn't let me watch it. Thanks, will try again. Just tried it, and to access the on demand full seasons you have to subscribe to paid HBO programming. Good news is I saw it is available on Amazon Prime for both seasons.
I think it's only showing on Prime, because HBO is allowing it, for the moment. (HBO allows subscriptions through Prime, so shows most their stuff on a normal basis, with subscription.) I suspect it will be limited time only, just like the HBO Go offer. Big Little Lies is too popular for HBO to give it away for free, beyond this month-free thing going on. btw: I had same problem with hbogo.com not loading episodes of Barry. But I just had to turn off my ad blocker and my plugin for disabling autoplay.

(A little late here as both started at 7:00pm; Nearing end of the 3rd Q, Chiefs lead 41-31; WS in the bottom of the 5th, Astros lead 2-0)
Just finished watching the Outerbanks on Netflix. A bunch of teenagers and some adults on a gold hunt. A lot of action. Very watchable.
Not another Outerbanks review: Warning -Highly addictive. The first couple of episodes feel like that Dicaprio movie from 2000 where he's hanging out in a mysterious beach, can't recall the name of that movie. Anyways these abercrombie display models are all in a search for a lost treasure, someone has a dog named "Tebow" so I think it's set in Florida. And to the creepy older dudes, the main female lead Madelyn Cline is 22 not the 15 yr old teenager she plays .. so no need to feel guilty. self projecting much? no never!
The Trial (Netflix) - 8 out of 10. Great, great show. Well-acted, lots of plot twists. Haven't finished it yet but I am hooked.
