Man... you could tell there was a ton of tension last year, but if any of this so far is true... it was on a whole nother level. (but, I assume a lot of this was altered for dramatic effect... but still, it might not be that far off either.)

I wouldn't hesitate to believe that it happened that way. Something went awfully wrong last year after Smith took over.

And - actually, this makes Stevie appear in a better light.

Guess I might be alone, but I still hope Yao and Stevie can make it work together.

SCJ me too man.. me too.

I really hope SF3 and Yao can work this all out and build a championship together.. its situations like this that allow players to grow together and build a type of chemistry who cant manufactor..

kind of funny but it makes me feel like SF3 and Yao are brothers bonding because of an abusive father.. weird isnt it?

There should be a new TV series called: "Houston" (modelled after the series Dallas) about some brothers growing up in a basketball dynasty. Throw in some sex and violence, I guarrantee it will be the biggest hit in China. ;)

Thanks for the translation! I remember hearing about words Steve had with Smith late last year so this seems to corroborate what happened. Wow. We've come a long way and the team really seems to have overcome a lot of adversity.

Anyone notice that yaos legs in the picture with his team are bigger then that of his coaches. Its like his was born with legs that could hold a position in the post.

Wow! That is some crazy stuff I've just read. I can't believe that we can get that kind of insider information. I do not for a moment doubt that Yao went through a very tough ordeal last season. So much was expected of him. It must be extremely scary to assimilate yourself to a new team in a new country. It's good to know that Yao is such a nice person and to have Francis lend him moral supports.

for such type of critical information, you think yangyi will dare to sacrifice his relation with yao and lie about what really happened?

    smell test passed. :p

Oh heech, great work! You should translate the whole book and sell it in the U.S. Did Yangyi get all this information from Yao?

Thanks Heech! This was a great read. Would Cato really say that to Yao though? I wonder. The collapse was so apparent when Smith took over. I remember him always standing on the sideline with this pissed off look on his face and just think that would fix everything. Steve was right if all that stuff was true. Man we all thought Rudy was doing a mediocre job last season... This team wanted him back in the worst way.
