I'm not even trying to change his mind. I'm trying to make it apparent to everyone else (and maybe even him) that he doesn't actually have any logic behind his assertions.

If he just blindly asserted things like "sTeViE fRaNcHiSe RuleZ!" then I wouldn't say anything. I guess it's my debate/philosophy/law school/moot court training taking over. I think I'm personally offended by his usurpation of reason. I could argue for hours with a brick wall if it pissed me off enough. And I'd win too, damnit ;).

    I said over a year.

Do you know how many players go on stretches where they play great? It's about what you do over an entire year.

Zach Randolph has averaged 20.2 points and 10.7 Rebounds over the last 69 games. What does that say about Zach?

That says that Zach has put up consistently better numbers than Yao over the entire year.

So that doesn't put Yao above criticism.

I hope Clutch will put you out of your misery soon.

    Juugie = Troy Baros?

So funny that you cannot repond to the facts and just want to have voices that disagree with you silenced.

Maybe Clutch will put you out of your misery too...

I would respect your arguements a lot more if you responded with logical thoughts/stats ala haven.

You are not worth more effort than that.

That is so fresh and original.

I've never seen a post like that before.

Those that can't debate call names.

Xenogears made a very sensible post but you couldn't sustain the discussion with him with an intelligent reply. You are good at avoiding the facts people throw at you.

I would respect your arguements a lot more if you responded with logical thoughts/stats ala haven (just like what you said to Sir Jackie Chile).

Which is why I said he is not even worth the effort. If I make the effort of answering with facts, the troll has won. If I just make fun of the troll, I am not really feeding the troll.

What is wrong with you people. Juugie never bashed Yao, all he did was have the most logical stance of any poster in the thread.

Haven you are wrong. Juugies stance is not illogical according to the stats(although you may discredit them because every one knows that stats mean nothing when applied to Yao:rolleyes: ).

according to the statistical history of the greatest centers. By thier second year they have established thier statistical averages for the greater part of thier carrers. Barring injury or old age(although if they came out of high school, which Yao did not, they might develop a little later)

Here are some stats of the greatest(and some not so great) centers: Shaq Hakeem Ewing Robinson Zo Chamberlain Moses

Please read the stats before replying.

wow... mr. 27 posts. please make sure to have read all the threads Juugie has made, coincidentally, I might add, only after Yao's bad games. make sure to have read all the logical arguments 98% of the posters on the board has presented to him. and make sure to have read his stubborn, broken record replies. and don't forget to make sure you have some more credibility before you call out guys who've proven to know what they're talking about, like Haven.

i agree with you the Juugie has been very civil in this thread. good job to him. but he's fighting for his bbs life, any more troll behavior and we all know he's a goner.

Exactly...well, apparently, Troy Baros/Juugie already has a "reserve user name" just in case: Bruce.

    I knew that was coming.

Anyone that dares have anything critical to say about "The Yao" must be silenced.

    Let the lambasting begin!

    I'm not fighting for anything.

I enjoy this board (most of the time) and I definitely respect Clutch for saving our Rockets.

But if he decides that I shouldn't post here because I'm critical of Yao then there's nothing I can do about that.

But I'm not going to bite my tongue.

Also, just becuase the guy only has 27 posts doesn't mean he's not right. Offer up some stats to counter the ones he posted - if you can...

whatever, plenty of people here feel like Yao isn't dominant enough and steve should still be a focal point of the offense. you know those people with "franchise" or "francis" in their names. but none of them are ridiculous enough to suggest that we should build around Yao. ask any GM or coach in the NBA... jeez.

    OMFG

did you even read my post. I did not post my non credible opinion, but statistical facts. are stats not credible???
does the fact that he has more posts than me lessen thier crediblility.

Im sorry if I offended you I was just posting stats.

SJC: if you think im Juugie just because posted something that supports his argument. then you must be Haven.

Do you know every coach or GM in the league? Have you spoken with them? When did they tell you this?

PS. Still waiting on those stats...
