Weird statement by Pompeo aside...I don’t mind this. We shouldn’t be pouring that much money into Afghanistan and we need to get out. If the Afghani government isn’t willing to do things we want them to do, with our money, we should just move on. it’s not a strategic stronghold, the locals don’t want us there unless we’re giving them money, and they don’t care about a central government. Time to move on.
