Can we get reparations from the Trump administration for their denying that the virus was dangerous, that it was a Democrat hoax, first? How should Trump compensate the deceased resulting from his passiveness when other countries were already locking their countries down after early spread of the virus?
Trump had done a decent job not stirring xenophobia against the Asian community until recently. All it means is they're in good company with women, Muslims, Hispanics and black people as the latest demographic to blame for his incompetency. Welcome.
Kansas official: Pandemic isn’t a problem here because there are few Chinese people https://www.kansascity.com/opinion/editorials/article241353836.html
not against hearings for our own politicians, after we get passed the issue and after we identify and fix the root cause.
News Flash my Great Grandfather on my mother side is Apache and my Great Grandmother on my mother side is Sioux.... So what about the NATIVE INDIANS!!!! T_Man
So will they also be pushing a lawsuit against the white house for the following firing the pandemic panel lying about this issue is no problem lying and saying that test were available T_Man
Yea... lets wait until *after* the 2020 elections... don't want anything that might influence how people vote...
Language might be insensitive but he's not wrong. Italy has there massive outbreak due to a large chinese group in that region. That's a fact. Also, Spanish Flu starting in Kansas is fake news bro. It started in European WWI armies, spreading due to close quarters, all over the world. SARS (thanks China!) was taken already!! But more recent Ebola, MERS, Malay Nipah, London Flu, HK Flu, Asian Flu, Spanish Flue, etc... all used some type of regional name. Calling it something PC/vague is a waste of effort and time. We got much bigger problems. But If you want another name, I propose "Inhumane Treatment of Animals In Primtive Wet Markets That Endangers The Entire World Virus." Or "Winnie The Flu" for short.
LOL... I really don't think you want to have family member investigations to be your main campaign theme, but hey, happy to have all the candidates kids investigated thoroughly.
And yet it's ultimately their fault for letting it out. No one thinks the handling was perfect in the US, at least I hope not, but give it a rest. It seems like they're getting things in order now. Plus this thread is about China and how it should compensate. Go complain in the entire thread about Trump's reaction if that's your aim instead of derailing blame from China. We can blame both for their missteps but this is a thread about China. Do you think China handled it to the best of their ability?
Over 10,000 dead now due to the spread that China kept a secret as long as possible. Not to mention the actual wet markets that cause constant virus mutations that go on because they're lucrative for those involved. The only countries that responded well to this despite China's secrecy are small, highly technocratic countries like Singapore and South korea that have camera's following citizens everywhere - so they could monitor the movement of the virus from the initial spread. Is it Trump's fault there aren't camera's on every square inch of American soil with heat detectors? Or that he played it down initially , while taking actions privately, so the stock market wouldn't crash like it did now ? It clearly is something that requires a strong hand to come down on China, but because that would affect the bottom line of people like Dadakota, they are fine with the deaths. Just use it as an excuse to get mad at Trump. Republican or democrat, people who priortize money over lives are sick and pathetic.
A chinese tour group in Singapore had an entire spa falling sick as the patient zero's. It was only kept under control because camera's followed everyone from that spa around and isolated those who came into contact with them.
It is sad people would rather side with the enemy in order to further their political agenda and their hatred of the President.
We should completely remove China from our supply chains. I’d rather pay 20% more for everything than deal with the consequences of not having vital supplies when we need it the most.
