Innovative approaches like drive through testing is smart. Working hand-in-hand with Congress to get relief to workers is smart. Jawboning the Fed to lower interest rates WORKED - now at zero and QE programs launched. Appointing the Silver Fox himself, Mike Pence, was smart - Pence is doing a great job at handling the lunatic liberal mob of reporters with ease. Working together, in a bi-partisan fashion, we will conquer this threat. Liberals look small bad-mouthing Trump right now. I think any attention on trump at THIS point , is just wasted effort. he most certainly botched the initial response. Had we taken more precaution earlier the virus would not be spreading as quickly nor would the economy be cratering as precipitously . I think he takes it seriously now . And frankly , he doesn’t have as much power in this matter right now as do Local leaders and congress . while he is the “face” of the government , half the people don’t recognize him as a leader regardless. we can do all the b****ing we want after the fact about cut federal spending on agencies that probably would’ve helped mitigate this .... but right now that’s not productive . my gut feeling is the more we (and I mean everyone) focuses on trump then the less we get done . Trump really doesn’t strike me as the type to get his hands too dirty . I think the only thing he meddled in was trying to prop up the markets last week . But by then it was already too late.
