that is why I say Harden needs to spend the summer with Hakeem!!! Imagine the "Beard Shake"! Harden is showing his decline of his athelecism due to his age and will need a post game to prolong his career (I.E. Jordan, Kobe etc.)
Barkley made kemp work on defense which effected his offense. Prior to that Shawn Kemp was killing us .
We got Barkley to beat to Sonics cause we got swept the year before in the playoffs. When they played illegal defense on Dream we had no one else in the paint to score. @Jontro Also I miss the intros

True but the city of Houston had suffered really bad losses in their quest to get a real championship. NCAA upset lost in the finals to NC State (Dream was on the UH team), Oilers losing to Pittsburg on a bad play that lead to instant replay, Oilers blowing a 35 point lead to Buffalo. Rockets losing to Boston in the Finals (Dream was there). Astros losing to the Mets.. The 94 season where he won the MVP, DPOY and Finals MVP appears to be something that will no be achieved. All these dumb newbs think that Harden can come close or top Dream a few years back, don't care about defense. Harden can be the best offensive player in the league and Rockets history, that's easy to say. However being the best player in Rockets history requires more than scoring titles. As a local, it was so pure, cause we felt the hurt before before we got the glory. we don't care about the media even though they try to marginalize our titles. We all know if New York won, that they would NEVER STOP TALKING ABOUT IT. But we won, so they suddenly wanted to make it the MJ narrative then falsely say that he wasn't there for 95 but EVERYBODY saw him come back and drop 55 on the Knicks. They wanted to make it about MJ vs the Rockets. But it was the Bulls, and that team got beat, not because of MJ, but because their front court sucked. Then they got Rodman and Kukoc etc. You take away Rodman and his crazy rebounding and defense, the Bulls don't win. Not part of the narrative cause it's too complicated for dumb fans.

What a great find! Jordan hated playing Houston. Hakeem was a nightmare on the court that Jordan admitted they had no answer for. We were the one team I think he genuinely worried about facing in the playoffs. Fate had other ideas. Fate, and a team that no longer exists stood in our way to glory. Glory and more championships.
