Rank the most competent franchises in Houston.

Rockets: Les to Fertitta transition, horrible regular seasons, playoffs falling short. still a continuation somewhat of what les left.

Astros: won 1 title by cheating but no other town consider it a title. Owner will do anything to win, rebuilt a 100 L team to 100 W team.

Texans: keep the HC as the GM. Makes trades out of madden trade finder

Houston Roughnecks: probably the best team in their league and most respected team in our city.

Dynamo: Bottom tier team right now. But a winning past.

If I had to rank most competent franchises in Houston before Tilman, the rockets were the most consistent franchise in Houston. Now with Tilman I would say now it is the Astros despite National disrespect.

    1. Astros
    2. Rockets
    3. Roughnecks
    4. Dynamo
    5. Texans

    Houston Sabercats.

    Too new to have baggage.

(not really a GARM post, imo)

To answer your title, yes, it went to **** when the Astros cheated.

Rockets closer to going out of business than winning a title. Lulz.

The Astros have an ugly black mark, but still are awesome. Plus we have an owner who is willing and able to do what it takes to win.

The Rockets are still possibly a top 5 team, certainly top 10, although with this owner I am terrified at the future prospects.

The Texans embrace mediocrity (which may be the worst organizational mindset of all),but aren't terrible.

The McNairs may get lucky and hire a great coach, Tilman will forever he handcuffing the Rockets

Lol at including the Roughnecks and Dynamo? Who? Nobody cares about them.

the Astros are the most embarrassing, the Texans are a joke, and the Rockets just can’t get over the hump

Texans and Astros are an expired balogna and mayo sandwich and E. coli Chipotle in comparison to the Rockets

Roughnecks end their season at 5-0. Aside from the Houston Comets, the Roughnecks are the most successful sports franchise in Houston sports history.

    Don't @ me.

Texans are too easy to laugh at, it's just sad at this point.

Ran by idiots, supported by idiots. That's the Texans motto.

Change this or I will roast you

I get the Tilman hate, but we've been awesome in the regular season.

You think the Kevin Martin or Steve Francis years were great regular seasons?

Keep in mind some people have been Rockets fans for more than 1 year.

    FIX IT

Can the Astros maintain their trajectory without Luhnow?

I'd still put the Texans at the bottom of that team. Their management and moves are like reading a business book on how to never get better.

Yup, Tilman on his way to ruining the Rockets.
Cal/Bob already done ****ed up the Texans

but there is the Astros. (even though a rebuild could be coming sooner than later)

No they weren't. We were blowing out teams and scored 130 points a game

We lost to the Warriors who made it to the Finals every time

Your hate for Tilman has clouded your mind Skywalker

Stressful? Ok, sure, if you're jockeying for a top playoff seed every year, it can be stressful.

You know what's not stressful? Tanking and losing 50-60 games every year like a lot of teams. We're lucky to have had a consistently competitive team for many years. You need some perspective.
