3 months of no basketball is an off-season. This season is over.

In the best case scenario where they can play in the summer - and yes, that's likely a best case scenario now - then you're talking 1-2 months of playing, then you have an offseason of only a couple months and start again?

    It doesn't make much sense.

And becomes SUPER confusing relative to the CBA, contracts, scheduling, etc, etc.

Season is over. Best thing for EVERYONE - players, owners, fans, people... is to cancel it completely and think about the next season. In the meantime, people are so in need of sports. So... in the age of iphones, live-streaming, etc., the NBA should be working on plans new entertainment. Think HORSE, done over live-streaming. Think broadcast of younger players playing NBA2k against each other. I'm sure they can get creative. No coronavirus discussion, no COVID-19 discussion.... just sports. "Free" for now - since many of us have already paid for the entertainment I don't suspect we'll get refunded on (eg. tickets, league pass, cable), but eventually they can add an economic model to it if it warrants.

    My 2 cents

I'll take being frustrated about Harden sucking over worrying about a global pandemic.

I just replaced disappointing sports that have no affect on my life for real life news.

The only thing the Rockets need to do is ensure that they and their loved ones are well. I don’t know how old you are, but you need to grow up. Real life is happening right now, yet you are here worrying about a children’s game...

Yeah nervously checking what skank team we're losing to is way better than nervously checking global Pandemic body count, lockdown orders and economic collapse

It’s good to worry about important things, but also have a time to decompress and relax and talk about lighter things. I understand we all stressed but every now and then we need to look at the positives in life. We don’t have to be serious 24/7

Obviously, but to suggest that anybody seriously needs to worry about anything related to a game at this point is just ridiculous.

No news is good news? This is the time Morey should tweet.

    Get tested and stay strong.

I've had to accept that the season is likely over. This country was not properly prepared to deal with this pandemic. Sad but is what it is.

Amin made an interesting point to forever start the nba during Christmas and end it in July from now on. This is a nice jump start to that. Even if we play 10 regular season games cut round 1 to 5 games, and start in June season will finnish August. U then have the ability to start every year in Christmas. I’m 100% down for this
