This guy makes me sick and makes me even sicker knowing he's my Air Force brotha... He needs to be fined and put in jail... T_Man He Has 17,700 Bottles of Hand Sanitizer and Nowhere to Sell Them https://www.yahoo.com/news/17-700-bottles-hand-sanitizer-155735689.html
Props to them for trying and props to the sites shutting them down Nothing wrong with either. The story of America's founding isn't as much religious freedom as much as capitalism. It doesn't get stressed in school enough that if you weren't a noble you were limited. America was founded to make money
There's a huge difference in profit and price gauging during a crisis... I have no problem with him getting nikes and then upcharging... I hope they make a huge example of him.. T_Man
I blame the people and the management.... why did it take them so long to start limiting items? I know why, because they are just as greedy as everyone else... T_Man
Totally morally bankrupt. Blows my mind this guy would voluntarily do this story and put his name out there. What a scumbag.
The market will adjust.... scarcity prompts price hikes and this promotes production. Obviously he will have to price them at an affordable point or won't sell them. In an emergency though if there is none the govt is in the right to confiscate and distribute the hand cleaner.
too bad it did not happen. I waited in a long line in the rain before a Costco here in San Diego.....the shelves were still empty when I got in. I expect they will restock the hand sanitizer after they are allowed to sell it for 20 times higher price.
I made a trip out Thursday (with nitrile gloves and a crappy surgical mask). I got to Costco twenty minutes before they opened thinking I would be among the first inside, but the parking lot was packed and there was a huge line to get in. Thankfully they opened the doors early because, like San Diego, it was raining in my area. Lucky for me I'm a bit of a germaphobe and we have plenty of hand-sanitizer. Unfortunately we're not well stocked on toilet paper. And my wife and I hate the cheap stuff.
I am sad to admit I contributed today to the TP massacre. Two bigs stores had none. So I went to a little neighborhood corner store and the guy had just stocked some. I got 3x the amount I would usually get. It's so hard to avoid if everyone else is freaking out. San Francisco's shelves are just about empty of so many things. I guess we've heard too much from Seattle and boy are things ugly up there. Peace.
