Trade up more than once in the same draft

    I was just thinking that it's nearly impossible to move up 7 or 8 spots from 13 to 5 or 6. So how about trading Detroit #13, #23 and releasing them from their future pick owed to us for #9. Then trading #9, #23 and Kenny Thomas to Vancouver for #6. Essentially we've traded our 3 picks and Kenny Thomas for #6. Maybe we could instead trade #9, #23, and Cato to Chicago for #4. The possibilities are endless. But the point is we move by giving up less than if say we wanted to work a deal just with Chicago or Vancouver.
