Who is the smarmy white guy on the right with the cheesy takes.

Google glass, throw it to the tall guy???

3's still worth more than 2's, moron.

My next question is, is this all on MDA?
Isn't this the style Morey wants with all this analytics?
Can the players see when it's not working and make their own adjustments (play basketball)?

And I'm not taking up for MDA. I think he should have been let go, but there's a lot of blame to go around, from top to bottom.

This is the problem with one trick pony teams. I said this in the game thread last night. We need to be versatile. We have to play to both player's strength not just one.

It's only taken 14 years for people to realize this.

It's a pretty simple equation. The wager is that TO advantage + offensive efficiency outweighs opponent's paint points + lost rebounds. When that equation doesn't pan out, we lose.

Is there some other style of basketball, absent Hakeem Olajuwon and '90s officiating, that survives a crap shooting night against a good team?

The rox haven’t had a plan B every year that harden has been here outside of CP first year. That’s on morey, just do a simple search on here and you’ll find a hundreds of threads of people calling out this brainless strategy

Figures you'd argue his take, both Wright and Mannix shot him down.

That google glasses guy is obviously not a basketball guy because his way to beat Rockets is to force the post up. LOL

You know how dumb people don't actually realize they're dumb? That certain situations are more complicated and have more variables in play than they think? That its simply not "3 > 2"..

You also know how some people are so dumb its not worth explaining to them?

    You're getting to that point.

I knew you were petty, but it's clear now that you are just ignorant.

You really do not understand basketball.

    LOL

Is this your way of obfuscation for your lack of BB IQ.

A for effort, F for creativity.

    Keep trying.

Lol this is quite late and fortunately has already been discussed by astute clutch fans. They need to put hartenstein back on the roster and deploy him in situations. Small ball works but not against every team. I and a lot of folks here foresaw that we can’t beat the clippers at small ball especially when they play Morris at the 5. They are so versatile and can go big or small. Clippers had a hard time with clint in the lineup when you clog the lane and force Leonard and George to make plays. If rockets are wise their need to get hart back on the bench before the playoffs. Stephen A out!

D'antoni and Morey's approach to the offense self correcting throughout the course of the season and individual games is akin to a parent of a kid getting bad grades letting him be and assuming that eventually he'll figure it out.

Warriors were a system of threat of 3’s, off-ball screens and then cuts to the rim. When the Rockets
stopped/checked the cuts to the rim. They turned to mostly Iso Durant (Steph struggled while coming
    off a regular season injury).

Houston will turn to iso Harden/Westbrook.......two scoops of mostly iso and fouls. Subject to refs
blowing the freakin whistls. What’s Plan C to that?

It was a single game... I don’t care if it was against the Bucks or Clippers or Lakers... had the Rockets won by 20 it wouldn’t have meant a lot either.

exactly. it's always obvious you should've taken some other type of shot after the game is over and you missed all your 3's. but unless someone can prove they know that being 1/10 means you'll be 2/20 and not that you will probably shoot your normal 35% on the next ten 3's, then you're basically just using hindsight to say a strategy is bad. i suppose at some point things could be so bad in a game that it could become mental and you should switch it up, but at that point you're probably already playing a disaster of a game.
