Pocahontas is folding up her teepee and calling it quits.

    Elizabeth Warren ends presidential run

Sen. Elizabeth Warren is suspending her presidential campaign, a source familiar with the decision tells NBC News, a bitter blow for a senator who was long seen by prominent Democrats as headed for the White House.

It is unclear whether Warren will endorse another Democratic candidate for president.

But who will she endorse? That is the question.

Now that she is no longer a threat for the presidency, can we stop with the racist crap on the bbs? If you want to hammer on about Warren's false Cherokee claim, at least understand that the Cherokee built houses and did not live in teepees.

While Joe Biden is enjoying his surprise, establishment assisted surge in the Democrat primaries, the investigation of Burisma and Vice President Biden's involvement in corrupt activities in Ukraine proceeds apace.

Sen. Ron Johnson on Biden Investigations: "Joe Biden Has Never Adequately Answered These Questions"

en. Ron Johnson (R-WI) announced he is close to releasing an interim report on investigations Senate Republicans have been running on former vice president Joe Biden, his son Hunter and his ties to the Ukrainian gas company Burisma, and Ukrainian interference in U.S. elections.

"My investigation into possible corruption in the Obama administration dates back to Hillary Clinton's email scandal," Johnson told FOX News host Martha MacCallum. "It was our oversight that ended up releasing most of the Peter Strzok, Lisa Page texts. I joined Chuck Grassley's investigation into possible DNC involvement with Ukraine to affect the 2016 election back in 2017."

"It's not our fault that Joe Biden, Hunter Biden got wrapped up in the whole Ukrainian story," Johnson said. "We are not closing our eyes to this. And I have no idea why anybody would object to us obtaining records from a U.S. consulting firm run by former Clinton administration officials that is basically using Hunter Biden's name to strongarm the State Department to curry benefits for a corrupt Ukrainian oil company. So that's what we are trying to do here. But, our investigation and our oversight is much broader than just this Ukrainian story with Hunter Biden and even the DNC."

So, what is good for the goose is good for the gander. Donald Trump was investigated and exonerated. Now Joe Biden is being investigated as well, but the outcome of this investigation will unfold over the months to come.

Ten warning signs of a potentially unsafe group/leader.
    1. Absolute authoritarianism without meaningful accountability.
    2. No tolerance for questions or critical inquiry.
    3. No meaningful financial disclosure regarding budget, expenses such as an independently audited financial statement.
    4. Unreasonable fear about the outside world, such as impending catastrophe, evil conspiracies and persecutions.
    5. There is no legitimate reason to leave, former followers are always wrong in leaving, negative or even evil.
    6. Former members often relate the same stories of abuse and reflect a similar pattern of grievances.
    7. There are records, books, news articles, or television programs that document the abuses of the group/leader.
    8. Followers feel they can never be "good enough".
    9. The group/leader is always right.
    10. The group/leader is the exclusive means of knowing "truth" or receiving validation, no other process of discovery is really acceptable or credible.
... or maybe it's just my TDS acting up again. :(

Color me a bit ignorant, but isn't this almost exactly what Trump did, except in Trump's case, he was doing so from a more significant pedestal?

So, I would expect Biden to be exonerated, right?

Yeah, this is not a thread that is focused on President Trump, but some people are obviously so obsessed with him, that they just cannot shake free of that.

Bernie Sanders lead over Joe Biden in the RCP National Poll Average peaked at 12.2 points on February 24, 2020 - just 11 days ago. Here is what that polling looked like:

RCP Poll Average - National (Feb 24, 2020)
    29.2 - Sanders
    17.0 - Biden
    15.5 - Bloomberg
    12.8 - Warren
    09.8 - Buttigieg
    06.2 - Klobuchar

Today Joe Biden is in the lead, by 7.5 points - a 19.7 point swing (20 points) in 11 days.

RCP Poll Average - National (March 6, 2020)
    34.3 - Biden (+17.3)
    26.8 - Sanders (-2.4)
    16.7 - Bloomberg (+1.2)
    13.8 - Warren (+1.0)

Obviously Bloomberg and Warren are out too now, so these polls will likely continue to evolve over the next week or two.

Of course this historically massive swing was instigated by the 'Mother of All Dog Whistles', which was discharged by Rep. James Clyburn (D-SC), with his endorsement of Joe Biden on the eve of the South Carolina primary, which was then amplified by the abrupt exits of Pete Buttigieg and Amy Kobuchar on the eve of the Super Tuesday primaries, obviously under heavy pressure from Democrat party leaders.

Anyway, a 20 point swing in two weeks, all behind a candidate who many people believe should probably not be driving, much less running for President of the United States. Talk about a super-impressive display of the Democrat establishment's political power to direct their supporters to vote a certain way at a critical moment.

Wow. Very impressive indeed. Not in a good way. But still.

This cartoon makes no sense, Bernie car would be faster than the tow truck with a vehicle hooked up.

Do republicans not know how physics or cars work?

Bernie Sanders campaign co-chair is floating Elizabeth Warren as Sanders VP choice. It may not matter, because the establishment has its weapons locked and loaded on Sanders, but this may be the best move that Sanders can make right now.

Sanders campaign co-chair floats Warren for VP slot

Rep. Ro Khanna, a national campaign co-chair for Bernie Sanders, on Friday called Elizabeth Warren "an outstanding choice" to become Sanders' running mate should he capture the Democratic presidential nomination. The California Democrat told MSNBC he would "absolutely" advise Sanders to name a woman as his vice presidential pick, and singled out the Vermont senator's colleague from Massachusetts when asked who specifically he would recommend.

"Maybe Sen. Warren," Khanna said. "I mean, I've said Senator Warren would be an outstanding choice. There will be other outstanding choices."

The words of praise from the top Sanders campaign official come after Warren declined to immediately endorse another candidate after dropping out of the Democratic primary Thursday — further irking some Sanders supporters who argued that she siphoned progressive voters from Sanders on Super Tuesday.

The lesson I am learning is that Sanders is not that great of a campaigner either.

At least Joe can seem cordial.

Really? I thoroughly expect some of them to stay home. But to vote for President Trump? That is a long row for those people to hoe, isn't it?

If you ask me , the lesson to be learned here is that the people who support Bernie type idea's and policy are a relatively small minority but have a very loud presence.

Yeah really .... that's a huge leap ideologically ... Can't see them voting for Trump even out of spite.

The Democrat party establishment brings real muscle to bear to help their chose candidate. That candidate is clearly Joe Biden and it is just as clearly not Bernie Sanders.
