    Capela begs to differ.

Dwight would have been perennial all star in PnR.

    Always sucked defending perimeter however.

Capela is essentially a PF in a C's body, he is way quicker than other bigger Centers.

This revisionist history about Dwight is infuriating. I will always have love for him since he was the first major free agent to choose the Rockets in a long, long time. However, he never wanted to put the work in that was required to be truly great. He thought he was OWED something, so he demanded post touches and plays called for him. But he never worked on his footwork or developed any type of offensive game that would allow an offense to run through him. I'm glad he's embracing this new role, but given his physical tools, Dwight should be anchoring a contender right now.....not coming off the bench as depth. He only has himself to blame for his current situation, but I'll give him credit for showing up each and every day, and doing the job the Lakers need him to do. It's obvious Jeannie is trying to keep that chemistry healthy in the locker room by saying this, but she would be the first to admit that she's full of ****. Throwing MDA under the bus is totally self-serving and disingenuous here.

Dwert was athletic and big leaper but he lacked awareness.

Also him sprinting from one end to another, up and down, that is not his strength.

    Capela could.

I bet the Rockets have a coach for bigs and post ups, a franchise with a long history of Cs.

MDA is just relying on them big men coaches.

When Dwight was at his peak in Orlando, he was a whole level better than the player we saw in LA and Houston. He had a rather major back surgery at the end of his Orlando time and was never the same. The spinal cord ain’t nothing to **** with.

Nene would beg to differ as well. His efficiency and over play picked up when he came to Houston. He was almost left for dead in Washington.

Dwight had physical talent and ability to rim run, he just didn't like to.do it.

Dwight was a freak on his prime.

The issue on Howard's first Lakers stint wasn't coaching. His production numbers was better after he came to us.

If Dwight demanded the same low post touches on his current run, Vogel would also not be the right coach.

Jeanie not too media savy. She is saying what she says because Dwight producing at his current role player expectation.

The correct term for big guys playing that position these days is Centersaurus. They are relics from a bygone era.

One big flaw in your theory: Dwight Howard has no spine.

He is like 3/4" shorter then Capela but with a stronger upper body.
