Joe better shut Beto up. Beto seemingly just committed Uncle Joe to an awful lot of gun control :eek:

No, it is more that they really don’t want Sanders.

Harping on guns is going to be a losing strategy but maybe my opinion is skewed on this because I just know too many people personally who are single issue voters when it comes to gun rights.

Dems need to harp on healthcare and consumer debt for a winning strategy against Trump. Trump is weak on those topics as he really has no nuanced viewpoints on them and a **** ton of Americans struggle with those two things.

I am upset about this BS but I guess it was predictable. I already voted so whatever, but if I could have my vote back, I would vote Bernie. I may not like all of his agenda, but he is a far better choice against Trump than Biden.

This is why I sometimes hate politics so much.

I personally can't stand Biden and never got the appeal. That said tomorrow I might just roll my eyes and vote for him. I'll be honest I don't know if Biden can beat Trump. I don't know if Sanders can beat Trump. They both have some serious weaknesses while Trump has a committed base, a good economy and the power of incumbency. My own feeling though is that while both might be able to beat Trump I think it is far more likely Sanders will not be able to make progress on Congress and it is a very real possibility he cost the House.

I've accepted that a Sanders presidency will be mostly uneventful, but I do feel he is a far better choice than Biden.

Any idea who Sanders might pick as his VP if he were to get the nomination?

People wonder why anyone likes Joe, but if you watch him closely you see why. Watching him today when Amy Klobuchar was giving her speech it was so obvious how genuinely good Joe Biden is.

    ... not good.

I'm trying to tell my self it wouldn't be that bad if he won the nomination... I just can't see him getting anything but rag-dolled by Trump in long format debates where the conversation is less talking points and more live reactions, more live thought and speaking patterns. I see him sputtering out every 2 minutes, media will pounce on him, Trump will be really quick to pounce on his glaring weakness like a wounded animal. The one thing Trump does well is insult people, is roasting people, is being a comedian, Biden being incapable of talking will be a T-ball for him.

Last minute polls in for Super Tuesday looking very good for Biden. 538 now projecting him to finish slightly ahead of Bernie in total delegates at the end of process

As Biden is trying to run a revolution I don't think he will get Buttigieg, Klobuchar, etc.. I could see Stacy Abrams on a ticket with Sanders.
