ClutchFans Game Thread: Rockets @ Knicks 3/2/2020

Knicks hit a good percentage of threes, won the rebounding battle by a huge margin and packed the paint to deter Brodie's drives to the paint. Tip my hat to them. They executed their game plan and got the result.

As many echoed, the Rockets are prone to playing down to their opposition and it showed again. Brodie needs to be the bad cop and light these fellows up. Unacceptable.

BTW, that Brodie dunk was worth double points. He's just a blur with a smidgen of space.

 

Nah man I hate losses. I didnt say a bad thing about Pringles during past 5 wins. If we lose though he gotta be accountable cuz he is the coach.

 

Neither was Harden

 

And he tends to be stationary when he doesn't have the ball in his hands. We've seen time and time again Harden struggles to free himself when being pressed. Mainly because he refused to run to a spot to get open.

 

Rockets couldn't un-dig their hole tonight.

Relying on refs to call a foul for a game winner is very dumb. Refs don't like calling the game with free throws.

 

Well to me thats scary cuz other teams are gonna look at that and see how they can win vs Rockets.

It's a chink in their armor if I'm Lakers I go very big and physical, tire out the Rox and then win the 7 game series due to fatigue and Pringle's lacking roster mgt.

 

Carrol is our new Farweed..he ain't seeing any mins in the playoffs. and we won't be seeing him again next year..

Horrible loss, totally unacceptable, no excuses. You can't expect to be taken seriously as a contender, when you can't get up for one of the worst teams in the league. Complete collapse of leadership. I am embarrassed as a fan. Obviously the Rockets have not moved beyond an old very bad habit.

 

It wasn’t a bad play looked a lot like Russ was fouled as he was trying to get around him, but Russ fumbling the ball kind of doomed the play ... way too many turnovers to tonight, something that had been getting better lately ... the rebounds destroyed us tonight, in that final 3 mins the Knicks got like 7 rebounds on 3 possessions and got FTs and a bucket every time. If they hadn’t missed a few FTs during that time we wouldn’t need have had a shot to tie it anyway. Just a pathetic **** loss, soooo Rockets .... I don’t have a high degree of faith we win Vs the Clips on Thursday unfortunately so another costly loss to a team they had no business losing to ever !

 

Media and CF would have absolutely torched Harden if had taken and missed last shot.

That is par for course.

 

Harden has been the victim of the butt of jokes for trying to draw fouls on last second game winning attempts.
