Can the two compete for a stable rotation position? From the performance of this period, I think Jeff Green is better. He has a strong body to face the opponent's C and PF, and a qualified impact to attack the opponent's paint area, and I think his three-point goal is pretty good As for demarre Carroll, I think he has gradually lost the evaluation favor of D'Antoni. He still has rich experience in the defensive end, but his competitive state is really not much, his legs seem to be 50 years old, and in the offensive end, he can't make a threat to the opponent's paint area. Finally, his three-point projection reminds me of Corey Brewer Whether our coaching team is still evaluating their competitive status?
I really look forward to Carroll figuring out whatever he needs to figure out so he can be part of our defenses. I like his play on defense. I think it's an effective style in small ball.
i think Carroll should take some of house's minutes. his switching defense is fantastic. him and roco would put clamps on anyone.
DeMarre should be playing so we know what we have. He has been Aces on defense. If he can still hit corner threes, he needs to be out there. Dan House is still a massive unknown for playoff basketball.
Green off the bench with Ego, Rivers and Bmac should smoke opposing 2nd units. Man, I wish we'd unleash Bruno.
Bruno's static talent is amazing, but he obviously can't match the intensity of the Rockets' game. His fighting power is not good enough. In addition, he seems to have some injuries that haven't completely recovered
I like B Mac but I would feel a lot better with Carroll getting his minutes come playoff time. DMC really needs to use this time to gel with the team and earn MDAs trust.
B Mac shot seems to be automatic, I mean seriously i be surprised when he misses but man his defense is horrid. his defense wont cut it in the playoffs but still I don't know if Carroll will crack the rotation.
By signing the 10 day Green guaranteed his minutes upon arrival. He's longer and more athletic. Familiarity with Westy & Beard probably helped too. I still envision Carroll playing effective minutes for us by playoff time.
I liked the Carroll signing more than Green, but they seem to like Green more. I simply don't see D'Antoni going to a 10 man rotation. If we're healthy, somebody is on the outside looking in, and that appears to be Carroll. After the Clipper game, our schedule hits a stretch that's charmin soft. I really hope we can work in some rest days, and Carroll gets regular PT because of it.
I might be wrong but Carroll has hit only one three pointer since he been here. I'm not surprised with Carroll. Green is nice but I'm afraid Green needs time to get timing. Green need to just take advantage of any matchup that presents itself.
