I saw a few videos about the Rockets sets and plays (Yes, plays) Harden seems to be a great screener When he sets a screen ... good things happen That inbounds play for the House dunk was nice!! A solid screen and his man refuse to really switch because it's Harden. Rocket River
If only he'd get more involved in that kind of action instead of just going one and one. Just because he can, doesn't mean he shouldn't use help screens and be off the ball to set some to get guys quality shots. I am surprised how Harden has these type of games again with late in the shot clock passing, especially when you're off.
I know screen assist is a stat that's debated on whether it really means much or not but... Screen Assist: The number of times an offensive player or team sets a screen for a teammate that directly leads to a made field goal by that teammate https://stats.nba.com/game/0021900892/hustle/ James Harden vs Boston last night Screen Assists: 2 (Eric Gordon was the only other player on the team credited with a Screen Assist with 1). Screen Assists Pts: 4 points Daniel Theis was the only player on the Celtics credited wit a screen assist (he had 1).
When we run off ball screens we get open shots....esp if they are going to the basket. Did not know this was a tracked star Rocket River
Westbrook working the slip screen would be insane. I think he would be great as pin down screener too because also has option to slip to rim as well.
