He tried to screw with tater-tots. It was all downhill. All of the recent commercials I saw, weren't about his hatred of tater-tots, but the damage was already done.

That and he contributed nothing to the conversation. It’s not like there’s a singular Tom Steyer initiative the platform will be adopting.

A lot of money spent just to say you ran for President.

 

He shouldn't have gotten in the race to begin with.

 

Did he really want to be president or did he want to become a pseudo celebrity -- now he will have a reason to be a voice in US politics. Running for president is a really good way to get famous regardless of actual chance of success (looking at you Tulsi).

 

Exactly. This is just a way to increase exposure.
