whether / how we bounce back today will say a lot about the character of this team and how far it can go in the playoffs.

    Another loss!

Flipper Yao, 12 points on 6/20 shooting, 10 TO.
After this game, he is elected the "Most Steadily Improving
Player On the Road". Since the Golden State game, he has
been able to score 1 point more every game.

In the olden days, we might of had a chance against this team because they were almost just as dumb as us. But now that they've gotten rid of players like Rasheed and Bonzi, for instance, we don't stand a chance in hell. Tweedle Dumb and Tweedle Dumber will find a way to make sure of that. Unless of course Dumber gets suspended first...

Obviously A-Train is enjoying his last month's posting in this BBS.:D

Well, I give it 50/50 based on how Rox is playing right now. :(

Yao won't get 20 shots if he can not play well from the beginning.
BTW, I am worried about his mood recently. During the last two games, He looks very very unhappy on and off the court. Don¡¯t know what's been going on with him.

Anybody noticed that Steve often ignores him even when Yao is in good deep position for the last couple games? Maybe it's just my illusion. Hope they two can have a talk on that issue.

The great irony is that Yao gets the ball where he's less likely to score and is ignored where he's most likely. He was being ignored flashing across the lane and when he as deep position. When they were giving him the ball, he was too high for the most part. A lot of it is his own fault for calling for the ball when he's too high.

Anyway, tonight Ratliff takes his turn abusing Yao. I don't think Yao's been in a slump so much as Dampier and Divac give the guy fits. They are both great low post defenders, heck they can almost guard Shaq. Yao will turn it around when the matchup becomes more favorable again.

We'll win tonight. Our other guys will look to score more and Yao will be deemphasized.

If SF3 would happen to get suspended, ROX would lose this game without doubt. Personally I hope that SF3 could play.

Expect YAO to step out in this game? No way. Ratliff would show YAO how to block the shots.
