[TV] Better Call Saul

Love the show... hate the long wait for it to come up on Netflix... Yea, I can't remember much of season 3... the chick got in an accident.. that's about it..

Season 5 looks exciting... what we were all waiting for... the years/months just leading up to the breaking bad stuff.

 

hopefully the timeline overlaps with BB and we get to see what was going on with Saul when he was off camera in BB

 

Or off camera with Gus while some mysterious blue meth is cutting into his business.

 

Season 4 arrives on Netflix this Sunday!

geez..it's been so long i'm not even sure what happened anymore.

 

Caught up through season 4 on Netflix. Love the ending to season 4. That last line was great.

 

Just watched the first episode of Season 5 last night and I can't remember a damn thing about Season 4 even with the recap at the beginning

 

Didn't even know it was back but yea I feel like I'm in the same boat.

 

I enjoyed the first episode. Season is going to be intense.

 

Did anyone catch episode 2 last night? I almost forgot it was a 2 night event. I'm liking the Nacho/Lalo dynamic.

 

I did, it was a good episode. The tie-ins to the Breaking Bad story arc are really starting to manifest itself if you pay close attention.

- Emilio gets pinched in BCS...in BB when Walter and Jesse first visit Saul's office, Jesse tells Walt that Saul got his friend Emilio out of a jam before.

- Tension now between Nacho and Lalo in BCS...in BB when Walter and Jesse kidnap Saul, Saul says "it wasn't me it was Ignacio!!" Ignacio is Nacho. He also tells them "Lalo didn't send you??" Some stuff is about to go down between Nacho and Lalo and Saul apparently will be involved.

- We see the origin of Saul's bluetooth headset he wears in BB.

 

I enjoyed the first episode, a lot. I can't wait to watch the second one...

 

First two episodes were great, this is going to be a strong season....

 

I hope there is action with Lalo, he seems like the dude that let others do the dirty work.

 

Of course there will be action... because we know which characters eventually survive to make it in the breaking bad universe.

Unless VG pulls a 180 and decides that somehow Kim and Lalo were still around during BB, you just didn't see them, and he brings them in for the post-script scenes with Gene.

 

That's so true...Finally watched the 2nd episode and it's solid...Can't wait for more! I read someone where that season 6 will be the last...

 

they can’t be far off from the time when BB starts.

 

Gilligan has a tendency to spend time on very tangential montages that I don't quite understand. Juxtaposing Lyle cleaning the fryers with Hank's stakeout felt unnecessary. Same with the drug addict binge. There's been at least one per episode.
