Actually the refs lifted the Lakers the last 5 minutes of the game, including Lebron's winning shot (ball came off the Davis little finger), but ok.

The dreamshake to me was always the turnaround fade to the baseline. Not any of the other moves. TBH what Lebron did looked like a dreamshake. It just wasn’t the classic one.

LeBrawn is probably the greatest 35 old geriatric.

Don't remember Hakeem shooting that sort of shot too often. A Jordan comparison would have been more apt.

The Dream shake was literally a shake where Olajuwon would shake his shoulders to fake out the opponent, come back the other way.

The one on the baseline is most famous and he truly used it there whereas quite frankly in those clips he’s not doing the Dream Shake.

That’s next level creativity in the moment and variety of a fake and maybe one is a Dream Shake like move (2nd clip) @BigM @J.R.

Both James and the writer of the article should be ashamed. That wasn’t a Dream Shake. It was a turnaround jumper, in my humble opinion. Nothing unusual about that move at all. It also isn’t surprising that James made the shot. That’s what he does. I just wish he hadn’t invoked a Rockets legend, Hakeem, afterwards.

Of course it's not as good as the master, but it was a pretty nice imitation.

Hakeem had a move that looked mostly like that, but it was about 20 times prettier and more fluid.

Not that he wouldn’t be elite in any era, but imagine Hakeem in this one, shooting 3s and using the dribble to get advantages on defenders. He’d arguably be even more unstoppable than he was in the back-to-the-basket era.

That was definitely more of a MJ-like or Kobe-like post up.

Not even close to being half a Dream Shake.

ESPN always says someone is doing the Dream Shake with every pedestrian back to the basket move. I remember a couple years back Embiid did a basic post move and ESPN went wild saying he was the next Hakeem Olajuwon. Anointed his basic turn-around jumper as the Dream Shake 2.0.

I almost thew up in my mouth.
