So, you are basically saying that you are voting for Bernie just to lose to Trump.

If you were a true Democrat wouldn't you support the candidate you think would beat Trump?

Overall minorities should vote Trump if they like the economy being strong. DACA is different of course, but other than that no reason not to. Trump is beneficial for Hispanics who are way more conservative than people realize. Many are very religious too. They are also great entrepreneurs and own a ton of businesses both large and small, which is usually a conservative trait because they often prefer Republican tax codes. I know that's a bit of a broad brush but generally from the ones I know, it's true. And the heaviest Trump supporter I personally know... is first gen Mexican. Dude is louder than anyone I know about it. Trump's support among minorities is much larger now that he's given a strong 4 years and I think the polls about his rising black support should more than concern the Dems. Again part of that is personal to my experiences and my friends circle, but interesting to me nonetheless.

I think Bernie has a great chance to win against Trump, He has a solid base and the anger against Trump is still there.

Moderate democrats are not going to Trump if anything he will get those democrats who switched from Obama and some will gravitate to Sanders because of the enthusiasm.

I agree somebody needs to drop out but this fear about Bernie is overblown

The non Bernie candidates gotta form a non Bernie Voltron.

The risk of Bernie is super high. The House is probably not in play without Bernie. It might be with him.

The dnc changed its rules so that the superdelegate have no said so in the first ballot. This is what Bernie and the left flank of the party wanted and got it. Bernie personally gave a thumb up to it. It returns power to the primaries voters. If the 1st ballot doesn’t result in a majority than the delegates come in. If they still can’t get to a majority than you have a contested convention. There is no rigging - it’s the rules that were approved unanimously because of exactly what Bernie supporter didn’t like in 2016.

But of course, the right and the Russian will do everything to create chaos and confusion and sow division within the democrats to weaken them.

Wouldn't him voting for Trump contribute to them not having a chance? It's not like he's powerless here, he's saying he'll vote for Bernie only to lose against Trump.

Last time I voted for a democrat was 2008. 2012 Ron Paul, Trump 2016 and 2020. DNC are in trouble. No, it’s not the Russians.

Given his super conservative posting history, and the line "My family and extended family have become more informed in the last 3 years and are switching." In context he is claiming to be a registered Democrat but a convert who has "seen the light" and will vote Bernie in the primary to spoil the election for Dems and will vote his true feelings for Trump in the general.

Just because you voted for Obama doesn't make you a democrat though. It looks like for the past 8 years you haven't been one.

I'm an independent technically but if I come out and say that I know many of the conservatives here will laugh at that. I'm very left wing.

You are a registered democrat in name only, if not, what policies/ideas do you like from the left or the DNC?

Well. We shall see the turnout for Trump. Above 30% Hispanic vote, can you not turn a blind eye on it.

Yeah, his posts are super conservative. Honestly, I usually don't believe people when they make these claims. We've had a lot of people claim to be Democrats just to say that they are turning their back on the party and so are voting for Trump which is about as far from being a liberal as possible.

It makes no sense. It's like if the Rockets get knocked out of the playoffs and a Rocket fan goes "Well, guess I'll root for the Jazz then."

If you are that dissuaded by the DNC then why throw support behind Trump of all people?

I did not like the impeachment hunt before Trump was even sworn in for president. I remember all the bs of the political left always trying to discredit Trump winning the GOP alone the presidency. 3 years of bs of the mass media and unelected officials in Washington trying to invalidate Trump and his voters. I can say f emm in future elections.

I don’t care for validation from the far left posters here. I don’t care for your opinions. But try to make sense once the exit polls start showing an increase of Hispanic voters for trump this November election. #KAG

I thought it was dirty pool and sour grapes. I don't like Trump as a human. The democrat reaction to him being elected and then the Mueller investigation finding the he did not collude with Russia even though the left told us that he was a Russian asset, rubbed me in a way that has made see the democratic House in a bad light. The folks here call me a Trump supporter, but it's really ironic to me because I'd love for anyone other than Trump to be elected so long as they bring a sense of well being back to the country. I'm ok with Pete, Amy, or Biden. There are things I don't like about them but they aren't looking to make radical changes. Also, Bloomberg has enough sense to not spit the bit. I can't do Bernie. He wants to give everyone a participation trophy.

All that being said, I'll be fine with Trump if he wins. I worry about the hysteria he brings out of the left. I'll probably tune off the news and the D&D if he does win. Of course he'll be impeached again and I'll tune in for that.
