Should we claim Markeiff Morris off Waivers ?

He'd be the 8th or 9th guy in the rotation, probably getting 15 minutes a night like Jeff Green did tonight. Meh.

 

Morey made a trade after the China thing so he's not totally blackballed.. plus players we're willing to sign here..

 

I'd cut a lot of people before I cut Clemons. I'm undecided on Green so far but I can name a handful of people I'd cut first over Clemons. You would really keep Michael Frazier and William Howard?

 

They are both on 2-way contracts.

Ask MDA whether he will use it. MDA will not use 8 players, those players can be cut

 

If there is no other good buyout players in the market and he is able to guard Gianns, it is better take him rather than remaining those money. I can only see the Jeff is ok, I still dont know Carrol and Brouco are the right people in the rotation. I think Houston can win championship this year.

 

Morris is not a solid defender anymore.

I think though you'd rather have him on your team than the Lakers. Clemons is a G-league player I think you have to go with Morris to try and win the chip

The rockets have been trying to acquire him for years. Markeiff is not interested in coming to Houston and never will be. They reached out to him last year and it was a hard no because of how the organization treated his brother. That's what someone told that works in for team. Blood will always be thicker than water.
