As i've said several times already....this is being made to be bigger than steroid scandal only because of social media, if social media was around there it would have gotten ugly then too March 26 can not get here quickly enough, let's Fn go
Gonna be funny when the only player suspensions that come out of this aren't Astros players but other players that headhunt. But I'm sure some Astros will be suspended for simply defending their own teammates.
Braves play the Astros on March 10th and March 20th in Spring Training. Let's see if Nick backs up his words or just sits there.
Finally someone posted the running gag that was trying to rip Altuve's shirt off. Maybe next, The most beautiful man to play centerfield aka Marisnick throws Altuve's helmet into the crowd because it had futuristic intercoms and wanted to get rid of the evidence! Jomboy that's your next story. don't get lazy. =/
Flaherty is a top 5 young up and coming ace. Not exactly a no-name. STL’s #1 SP for the foreseeable future.
Was he pitching in 2017? Did the Astros pummel him with sign stealing assistance? does he even know which Astros were on the team in 2017 and which weren’t? The first time Alvarez gets hit due to his “role”, will the media even realize he wasn’t a part of it? I would think any average media member would also try to reason the above questions before looking for any possible sound bite.
Remember that time a Cardinals employee went to prison for stealing Astros’ intel? Yeah that was fun. Nobody gave a ****.
Knowing what pitch you need to hit is a huge advantage. So you're describing the Astros having a MAJOR advantage over other teams they are competing with, due to cheating. Based on what happened, it's impossible to call the 2017 Astros the best team in baseball. Sure, they have the rings and the hardware, but as to what it's supposed to represent, the title is meaningless.
What exactly do you think it's supposed to represent? And what about the teams that won a WS with steroid users?
