Could he possibly return to take Anderson's place?

even if we wanted him. at his age he's no long term answer. we need someone who can fill our SF spot for the next 5-10 years.

Mario wants to return to his home in Houston. I think the speculation on our parts was something like this: (I'll paraphrase Clutch on this one) "If he would sign for the bare-ass minimum to play a backup 2-guard role..."

The latest news is that he is still old, slow, and washed up. He had a good run but now it's time to take up shuffleboard.

He left the Rockets and started playing better. That was because when he was with us he didn't play hard because he was in a huff with sir charles. That is unacceptable. WE DON'T WANT HIM HERE!!

The only possible scenario I can envision is if Walt gets traded and Dream signs somewhere else. That leaves Bull as the "Senior" Rocket. Mario might fill an "experience void" backing up Cuttino, but as mentioned prior he is a short-term solution. This is something which would be addressed LONG after Webber, Dream, Mo T, Shandon, & Moochie have signed - where ever that may be!

hehe..... actually i think ellie would prove to be something we really could use especially off the bench. he won't score anymore and that is something we don't need but i'm sure his kiss of death, magic three's could come in handy..they just happen to always fall right when we need them....
