I actually kind of feel bad for Bennet. In theory, he should have had a decent shot. He checks off a lot of boxes in terms of general election appeal and has a track record of winning difficult races. His platform is very similar to the center-left candidates still in the running. No baggage. Sadly, despite being a US Senator, nobody knows who he is. That...or the only thing they know about him is from his anti-Ted Cruz tirade during the infamous government shutdown last year.
