I hate this "If ____ had more shots and a green light they'd put up Harden numbers too!" argument.

My dad would always say if you have to use 'If' or 'but' in an argument then you've already lost the argument.

 

NOT true, they have tractor tipping there. LOL

 

We beat one of the top teams in the League tonight, and we did it without EG, and James at way less than 100%...also without other guys that will be out there helping us later.

Loved it when the Rockets turned up the D...and closed them out.

I am sure Morey is jerking it watching this. If there is one fault that Morey has is that he has never been able to bring a Joe Harris or Kyle Korver to this team. We have always have had streak shooters, which is why we go through some tough stretches.

Curry would have been broken by 10 games if he carried Harden's load lol. Was nice to be playing with 4 other All-stars to hide your weakness.

Lebron James played with the same green light on Cavaliers.

As did Kobe when not with Shaq and Pau and we all know how that went.

 

Also had to do while neutered.
Refs hung 5 fouls on Harden and Cov for the 4th Q
But, in refs defense, James hacked for #5, bad move.

I thought fouls 4 and 5 were legit (although I’d like to see the push off called both ways).

 

Maybe I'm just a Morey apologist, but Morey has tried to bring in shooters only to get his sh-t poached. Morey went after JJ Reddick (went to the sixers) and Doug McDermott (Presti poached him then didnt use him, smh.)

I don't know why it's so hard to compliment Harden. It always has to come with some caveat.

Its amazing how they forget to realize most superstars couldn't even create thier own shot enough to be able to put up that many shots.

This isnt 2K. You cant just tell Kemba Walker to take 25+ shots a game.

A lot of guys need specialized designed plays to get them open looks.

Give me an example of a team that tells their superstars to stop shooting lol.

Either you can do it or you cant.

A lot of ex players hate the fact that Harden CAN.

It's not them wishing that had a chance to do it.

Its them wishing that they COULD do it.

To be fair, we got PJ instead of JJ. As much as I would of loved JJ, I am so glad we have PJ.
