http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/basketball/165493_sonx19.html "This is a man's league," Barry said. "And when I was running back in, I brushed up against him to let him know, 'I felt you hit me, but I'm going to let you know ... we're leaving your building with a win.' " Posey ran toward Barry, but was intercepted by Rashard Lewis, who knows Posey. Lewis picked Posey up and kept the two apart. "I said, 'What are you going to do, take a swing? Go ahead,'" Barry said. is it just me, or is posey one of the most easily provoked players in the League? this is already the second time this season, earlier in the year he tackled someone. and i remember last year, durring the dallas game, when he up ended dirk on a rebound on purpose and tackled bradley into the 2nd row. this guy has a history of this type of behavior....why does his rep seem so clean?
There's nothing wrong with sticking up for your teammates. The reason he's got a good rep is because he's a good teammate, he doesn't look for fights, and he doesn't mouth off to refs.
Posey is a Punk. What he did in Dallas last year was classless and I'm glad he is no longer a rocket.
Posey looked like a tool. Barry didn't help matters, but Posey just compouned everything by ratcheting up the jackass scale.
posey's the guy we got for Kenny right and then let him go for nothing.... so Kenny for nothing..... if we stupidly don't protect MoT in the expansion draft then we will have lost our 3 headed PF monster for nothing
When James Posey gets frustrated he starts pushing opposing players or a vicious take down like he did Dirk and Peja. Definitely a JVG type of player. What I noticed the other night about Posey though, he doesn't really commit to playing defense anymore he just reaches around the player and hopes to knock it loose and runs back on offense.
