I think you are right. We need players that have been tested. The future is now.

All I know is any time I’m looking for a cheap stretch 4 in NBA 2K, I pick up Marvin Williams. And he puts up solid numbers everytime on the Rockets. Like 15/7 with 42% 3 point shooting. lmao

    MKG
    Harkless
    Bolden
    Williams

Dump Tyson and Thabo to add 2 more spots. Rockets get younger, more switchable, longer and better 3ball.

    Russ/Rivers
    Harden/EGo/McLemore
    MKG/House
    Covington/Harkless
    PJ/Martian/Bolden

Bruno doesn’t have a shooting stroke like Bolden and never will. Looks to be an ideal big to pick and pop. Bruno has length and all but he is def a project. Bolden doesn’t look to be a project just needs time in the right system.

    no way i dump thabo

only b/c at least pringles is playing him. switch him for some other guy to add to the roster and pringles might/probably will just shrink the rotation back down!

i will do a backflip if we can get harkless. thats a gift from the heavens. i think our defense could be top 10 with hark/roco/ and tucker in the front court. we could bother a lot of teams.

Thabo is someone I would keep. He is an excellent defender that you can use on Kawhi and lebron. Plus he’s a seasoned vet and harden loves him.

Feel like the recent buzz we're getting for going full small ball makes us very attractive to any wings on the market. I'd put potential free agents in the following tiers

    Harkless
    MKG Williams
    Bolden Henson O'Quinn

Harkless was fantastic as a 4 for the Blazers last year. Love his ability to switch on D and find the right spots on offense. 37% 3-pt shooter as well. Will be highly sought after if bought out.

MKG is a menace defensively but his shot is not reliable. Love a good reclamation project though (see JSmoove)

With Williams, you know what you'll get. Respectable D and good three point shooting. A solid, if unspectacular, addition for a playoff run

Lowest tier is for bigs with a semblance of a three point shot. Will they want to come to us for a pittance of minutes?

Harkless and MKG excite the most. I agree - no half measures needed!

In a hypothetical world where we get MKG, it really makes no sense to have both him and Thabo.

Would keep if no other options.

But old and contributes nothing on offense.

Harkless, MKG and Marvin Williams are obvious upgrades. Bolden has much more potential not just this season but for the future (great contract to boot).

Think asset value and future potential.

We haven't had a good Marvin in Houston since Marvin Zindler.

Is it true that he died from drinking too much slime from the ice machine?

MDA would absolutely play Harkless, MKG and Williams.

Morey should see Bolden as young long athletic 3-D disruptor with potential. See Bruno.

This is not a drill! Marvin Williams being bought out.

Williams and/or Harkless please and thank you.

I brought Marvin up months ago in the random trade ideas thread at a time when he was probably not on most people's radar. Great fit.

I could only dream of having Morey's ear.

The way we are configuring this team right now is like Morey was living in my head. I'm having an out of body experience.

One day soon we will get AG (or similar skilled player) and I may have to be medicated.

    :D
