    Send out Clint Capela and a 1st round pick, two of their only real assets, get back Robert Covington and Bruno Cabaclo. If there are no other moves, hard to believe the Rockets definitvely better positioned themselves for either this season or the future. Barring anything else happening, really disappointing deadline. I would've rather had them stand pat based on what's happened so far.

    it's going to be interesting to see if the bruno now can fill the moute role and be as versatile defensively

    covington/bruno vs ariza/moute

    can the '17 defense be duplicated with this bunch. certainly have more length

    Not impressive so far, but there is an hour and some roster spots to go. And some TPEs to use.

    I guess Bell was tradable after all. LOL.

    Everyone should listen to the @Clutch podcast before commenting.

    The Rockets have a vision and they are executing on it to fashion a post Westbrook roster. It's an obvious and hilarious coincidence that this has to do with their favorite asset, LTSavings, but in basketball terms going all in on shooting rather than fighting fire with a cigarette lighter is not the worst move. It might not work out but it's a plausible ploy.

    This might be selling high on Capela given league trends, see the podcast

    I liked him on the team when the Rockets were desperate to find a Durant stopper against the GsW. Well, Durant went down in the playoffs so it didn't matter. AND WE STILL LOST!!!

    So we traded our starting center that was a top 5 rebounder in the league & a 1st for basically a backup SF & a G league scrub...
    Nice to know the onwership/management are so committed to improving the roster supposedly competing for a championship.
