Do you want give yet another FRP out to get Morris? Because that is what's rumored to be the price.

I like him on this team, but I don't know if I like him, like him.

The Rockets are talking about possibly trading a player for Morris and then using the TE to target another wing.

He really turned things around in BOS.

Noel would be a good get.

Since he started shooting .439 from 3 on over 6 attempts per game. 32 minutes a game too. LOL .582 TS%.

15 million though, is 15 million.

I'm hoping Morey finds a way to get both O'Quinn/Bolden at a lesser cost. The Sixers need to clear two roster spots and Morey needs to add two roster spots. Both of their salaries (Together fit within the TPE. (I'm not good with all of the cap stuff but I think this is correct.)

I've advocated for that for about 2 weeks now. Just don't want to burn their last FRP on it.

Morris and another wing in the 3.6 Knight TPE range would be awesome.

    Bucher:

Rockets are worse because they don't have any size whatsoever but Daryl Morey assured me yesterday that this is not the end of their deals. They will make another deal.

They paid him(Capela) in order to keep him as an asset but saw him in the playoffs last year & he came up small. They realized then he won't live up to this contract. It was a matter of flipping him out.

They will add another big. Maybe on a low contract, maybe not a big name but there are a couple guys out there.

Then "a player" would be House. Salaries match-ish. And how many 2/3's do we need?

IIRC, both should fit within Knight's TPE, if that's what they wanted to do. Philly isn't just going to give them away though. 2 2nds does it?

Still rather have 'Kieff + some 3.6 ish wing.

Can’t say this enough. Also Noel for cheap would be huge too

Tick, tick, tick. Less than 4 hours, Morey, and still no new big.

I may be in the minority here but another wing that fits is more important than grabbing a center who may only play 10-15 minutes

LOL At the idea that Daryl Morey told Ric Bucher anything other than: "Yeah.... yeah we will get someone tall....." while frantically dropping a deuce at a Whataburger bathroom at 1 am, after downing two patty melts....... I'm sure Daryl skipped washing his hands to get the hell out of there before Bucher offered him a reach around.

There is no way Daryl Morey told Ric Bucher the rest of what he said.

Always thought Noel could be Capela if he played with JH13.

The knicks need to knick-up and send us randle. I would give up PJ for him.

Notice Morey is holding onto his picks from 2025 and on? ;)

I would give up the two 2nd's.

Love Kieff on the Rockets and think he would be a great match for what they do. I said the same thing last year at the deadline. With this said I wouldn't give up my last 1st for him. You might need that to improve the team in the future, either through the draft or a later trade, say next year.

Every year I have the same dream: The Rockets trade for an absolute dead eye shooter.

But the tigers come at night
With their voices soft as thunder
As they tear your hope apart
As they turn your dream to shame

Agree with the Noel thought but not PJ for Randle at all.
Btw. I would’ve traded PJ for Butler
