    That’s the thing. I don’t know the specifics and I doubt besides one or two people on here anyone else does; but it sounds like pretty complicated shet that Morey would by now know may be a red flag after the Nene thing and would run it by the league to see if it’s kosher a little earlier than 24 hrs before the deadline.

    This is what I'm thinking. But like you said we don't know. If this is the case it's completely Moreys fault. He should stop trying to out smart the league office.

    Nothing particularly good was coming anyway, we just don't have the assets for that, if we're lucky we might get someone better via buyout.

    Basically atlanta mentioned it was a 4 team trade, so morey couldnt structure it as multiple 2 or 3 team trades, and so the exception dropped to 3.6m

    The trade doesn’t go down with a risk like that unless he is ok with it.

    Why 3,6 million? If the rockets send 19.1M in salary and receive 12.9, shouldn’t it be at least 6.2?
