if it’s TT or whoever it really doesn’t matter. All we need is a guy that rebounds, has size and can somewhat defend other bigs. TT almost puts up identical stats as capela and tbh way more versatile. He’s not a capela replacement but he’s replacement enough for what we need.
No to Thompson and Maker. I like Thomas Bryant, but his foot stress fracture scares me. Baynes would be nice, if he is fit. Len is okay.
Markieff Morris is the best fit TBH. He can guard several positions well, he plays hard, he is best at the 5..... he shoots 3's and he isn't terribly bright so ne will do exactly what they tell him... which will be stand at the 3 point line, and on defense randomly hit people and go for rebounds.
Bryant is just too good to be traded for a 2022 pick...the guy is 21, makes 8M for three years, he's a decent defender, can shoot the 3...the more i think about it the more i realize this is not happening. Same for Allen who has even more upside and is still on a rookie scale contract. It's probably going to be a guy like Len or Hernangomez, although i don't see a reason to get these guys when we have Hartenstein so, maybe it'll be someone else lol. If Tilman was willing to pay the tax though, i think TT would make sense, like other said he's not very different then Clint, although worse he's still decent enough for what we need, the problem is that we would've to give up more players, probably House and McLemore.
I don't know, but he would be a very good get for what the Rockets need. He is very physical and is a very good rebounder. He does well when he has a strict and narrow set of commands. He also can be a beast in transition.
I just don't see how adding $18 Million is possible unless PJ is traded. edit: You would have to add House + 2 of 3 of Hartenstein, Thabo and Tyson Chandler. Are the Pacers that desperate to dump Turner?
