sure whatever, but unless we get a First round pick back out of thin air this trade is already a D grade.

Can people stop saying the 2nd round pick the rockets got offset the loss of yet another first round pick.

The 2nd round pick coming is the 2024 warriors pick. It is not safe to assume that it will be a low pick.

The 1st round pick the rockets gave up is currently the 22nd pick.

Imo, capela netting Covington is not a bad trade. A first rounder to get rid of green and Nene's small expiring contract on the other hand is just simply cheap and stupid.

I didn't know we are a rebuilding team that needed a 1st rounder for the next 3 years

Calm down. The trade hasn't been executed yet. We can technically take on an additional $12M in salary by expanding the trade. Now will we actually do it?

That's probably reasonably accurate , I haven't done the math for what they could add into this current deal.

    Here's the math -

$19,081,869‬ in outgoing salary X125%+100k = 23,952,336. in total incoming salary potential.
    $12,921,783‬ in incoming salary

    23,952,336 - 12,921,783 = 11,030,553 space available to add to this deal.

So they can add up to $11m in incoming salary to this trade .... but anything above $5,838,621 puts them in the tax.

Dude when dantoni eventually gets fired we’re so screwed. I hate this trade

I like Roco, but he’s overrated and injury prone. We don’t have any legit big men besides Hartenstein who doesn’t even play (but even if we get a legit coach, we have NO ONE)

I love how Tillman says he gave Morey carte Blanche to make the team better but then he makes a move to save money. That guy is so full of ****. We have to let Tillman know he sucks. I am contemplating making a Twitter to curse him out (I know that won’t do anything)

You are acting like they can just offer a buy out guy the $5.8m difference between their current payroll and the tax line.

    That's not true.

They can only offer the minimum or what remains of the MLE ..... and what remains of the MLE is actually less than the minimum by about $6k.

They have no advantages in the buy out market at all and this $5.8m below the tax line doesn't change anything .... other than paying the tax or not.

The garm has become a miserable place.

There is no meaningful discussion anymore, just people trying to get off a good take about how cheap Tillman is.

    Do better people.

I said I’m done giving my $$ and as much of my time/energy. That I plan to stick by. I haven’t paid for a ticket in a while now. I watch less games too.

We’ve been sitting on unspent MLE $$ since we changed owners.

Lol yall are so hurt. I love how invested we are in our team though. Even in the financial aspects.

Lets let Morey do his job. Deadline is tomorrow and we have buyout season after. We do this every year and every year we have a solid team for the last push and in the playoffs. We got who we wanted. We wanted RoCo who is a solid 3-D player. A very good defender. And now we can through Tucker, RoCo, House, Rivers...etc at other teams top players while keeping Harden and Russ fresh and attacking in a 5 out offense.

More is coming. Sit back and chill. Complain after the season if it doesn't go your way. #OneMission
