I am sure Morey and his fans will find plenty of other excuses.

I hate that this POS so blatantly lies to us almost as much as I am about the cheapness.

It's so damn awful with this chump in charge, and the worst part is that we're stuck with him.

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

"The Rockets could still make other moves by Thursday’s 2 p.m. trade deadline. They could add a player making as much as roughly $12 million to an expanded version of the deal. A person with knowledge of the team’s plans said there had been talks about subsequent trades if the Covington trade was completed well before Tuesday’s agreement with the Rockets holding a list of players to target, some that would push them back over the tax threshold. That includes, but is not limited, to centers to replace Capela."

    ...

"The Rockets will move $7.5 million under the luxury tax threshold with the deal, but have been given a green light to spend over that for several of the players that are on their list to target, according to an individual with knowledge of the team’s plans. Not all of those players are centers, another individual familiar with the team’s remaining trade deadline goals said."

Anybody who keeps getting fooled by this dude is a low IQ individual. This guy has told you time and time again what his priorities are.

Then Morey must be on an unsolicited initiative to save money for Tilman. What a GM.
