If these Capela rumours are true, and it is appearing that it is, then it is baffling how stupid our organization has become. We build a magnificent team and the second best team in the league for two years with only Golden State in the way. Soon as they’re not in the way, we start taking apart our team. Capela has been a huge part of our team and a HUGE part of our playoff runs except vs Golden State. Now that Golden State is gone we trade him?!?! So we can struggle to get by the first round? Don’t be fooled by EGs 50 point game. We need Clint against the Jazz. He’s been stellar against them in two series’ in a row.

Right. But in defense, that argument is based on us not re-signing Ariza and Luc. But that argument should be reduced to just Ariza because Luc never really came back to play for anyone so we dodged a bullet there. I really have no issue not giving Ariza 15M. That would have put us way over the luxury tax and started the repeater tax then. Yes it is true it is becoming evident we never have any intention for any luxury tax, but there is being smart with the owners money (then), and being super cheap (now).
