Im not sure I grasp this whole situation regarding picks. but if the Griz have to give detroit a pick this time, couldnt we trade the griz #13, #22 for their #6 pick? We'd get a pick that we want, they could give a crappier one to detroit and still have one for themselves. Everybody wins (except detroit I guess) Could something like that happen? Vancouver would send the #13 to detroit. So they get the #9 next year and the # 22 this year instead of the #6. It would take just a little some some to get the #6. I don't know if they're willing to trade down when they know they're sitiing on six. If I was them, I'd try to persuade Orlando to send the #18 to the rockets and trade the #6 for the #13, #18, and #22. I'd probably throw in the Lakers pick if I was Vancouver and ask for the Det conditional pick from the rockets. ------------------
