That wouldn’t be a bad return for Capela. However, with Looney suffering through an injury-plagued season, I’d prefer a different rim-running center.
I see some people undervalue capela just know the league values him very highly. Obviously small ball and centers that can shoot are in the now but that doesn’t dismiss the fact that capela is a top 3-5 center and fits a lot of teams schemes for a traditional high performing center
Not a fan of a Looney as our Clint replacement. This does nothing about our spacing problem that were supposedly moving Clint for in the first place. I want Christian Wood, let’s get a 5 who can lob, rebound, hit 3’s, block shots.
If Capella's foot injury is something that is gonna bother him all season then I feel like the only trade partners that make sense are Atlanta and Sacramento.
If Tilman dumps Capela just to save money, I'm done with this organization. This is like the crap the Clippers used to do in the 80s and early 90s under Donald Sterling.
All for getting Covington but remember when Capela was healthy he was getting multiple 20/20 games just saying
crazy to see the ROX have verified talks about Andre Drummond - thats at best a lateral move right? Also why not just cut Nene to get under the cap?
Hunter, Collins, and Len for Capela and 2 FRP gets the Rockets under the Luxury tax and makes the team better with room to improve in buyouts. Tilman always wanted to avoid the luxury tax this year. I think a big part of the Russ deal was so that Tilman could avoid the luxury tax using repeater tax as an excuse again.
If this is the case, I'll always have love for the Rockets but I may have to start eyeing a local team. Tilman is a plague and I can't support him.
