    The dreaded 4th quarter is coming up. If we're not up by quite a few points, we're more likely going to lose it. Unless Harden goes off in the 4th.

    No dude. Shots not going in is something you can't control. What you can control is having the personnel on the court that doesn't allow you to get out rebounded by 30+ boards and having grade school level paint defense. That is well within the coaching staff's control.

    But the gap would likely be lower, which leads to more possessions for us and less for them, and their 2nd chance points are the primary reason they're still in the game.

    By your logic...we should just go ahead and play Rivers at Center since we wouldn't "get an advantage".

    true , but i mean if you had guys make every open shot and convert on every layup .. i could coach

    we are getting some good looks because of playing small , no doubt.

    Pels are also helping us out a lot with like 15 unforced TO's

    I agree. If they are both this bad, why is MDA not actively campaigning for better bigs.

    Either he doesn’t care or he’s already tried. Another option is that maybe the FO has more faith in iHart than MDA.

    Being hot or cold is something that is far less controllable than having the right personnel on the court that can challenge NBA level big men in the paint.

    I'm stating that one issue is far more controllable.

    I’m at work so can’t see the game but the rebounding disparity is insane, but so is the turnover in our favor. Has our defense been good or what ?
