    Lillard does this thing where he makes quick moves and doesn't stand around dribbling on one spot on the floor where opposing defenders have a chance to trap.

    Harden makes it easy to trap.

    I really don't think this is a situation where he is walking all over the coach, but superstars always have more clout than coaches. They were talking about this on Dallas radio earlier in the year how Rick Carlisle had butted heads with a Luka a little bit his rookie year and he is forced to change his tune a bit. Because if Luka has a problem with Rick, it's going to be Rick going and not Luka.

    Russ is grinding and playing hard, but his inability to shoot threes hurts. It feels like such a huge uphill battle.

    We know you hate Harden and all, but at least see there's a difference.

    I'm not TRYING to say it - I AM saying it. He was serviceable but DISAPPEARED when the stakes got high.

    I'm not going to defend harden bc we talkin 'bout Ariza not harden. But I will say that thus far he's still a Rocket and still wants Houston (for now) unlike Ariza.

    Refs evening out the FT disparity now that the game is lost... before these past two EG drives we had shot 4 FTs and two of those were technicals. Lol.

    He deserves it. I love Harden, but he has been uninterested in basketball for a month now. Yes, he's probably banged up a bit, but he also has shown no effort and has been careless to a fault.

    Sure players have more clout nowadays ... but the coach has to find a way to work with people to get what he wants.

    I think in this case , MDA has no problem with playing james 38 mpg . He was talking about cutting PJ's minutes not to long ago and of course that never happened.
