A friend of mine was on a flight earlier today flying from Miami to Houston in First class and guess who was there. Steve Francis and Nick Van Exel was in first class on a Continental flight. Evidently, there was a big Hip-hop showcase in Miami Sunday and Monday night and they were returning back to Houston. Steve was very nice to my friend and even took a picture. She didn't get a chance to really talk basketball so no news. Curious tho to see Nick Van Exel on the same flight with Steve Francis. Makes you wonder. Hmmmmmmmmmm ------------------

I think Van Exel lives in Houston, in the offseason, so that should take your wonder away. My brother constantly sees him at his work (Royal Oaks CC where Cuttino lives). Nick Van Exel has a house in the Houston area. People take somethings to seriously, he tends to be a little bit hot tempered on the court, but he is cool off the court. Nick lives in Royal Oaks as does Cuttino. Nick owes the most expensive house in the subdivision at the moment. The lot itself cost 1 million bucks, house is pimp, including sub-level movie theatre and many other perks. Total property value 3 million. I had an instance once where I met a Rocket on a plane. 3 years ago, I met Charles Barkley in coincidentally, first class on a Continental flight. He was catching up to his team in L.A., because he had missed the beginning of the road trip recovering from a hernia I think. He was really nice, and we talked about the Rockets chances that year. I think Francis was unhappy at finishing second behind Rasheed Wallace in T's. He is sure he can improve that aspect of his game this offseason and was getting ref-chokeing tips from the master. ------------------

OK MY dad lives in a place called SAn Monetgo apt. (pretty darn nice and expensive apratments) anyway i have seen all sorts of nba players. I know that presently the mooch has a hosue accross the street from my dad and i have seen both McDyess and Van Axel there. I also have seen bryce drew there before he was traded.
