steve is the best...what heart....that showed a lot of courage...he layed a forearm into amare to say, get the hell out...someone needed to do it, and our captain did, he did it in defense of a teamate, that character, if moron cato would have acted like he actually had two legs this whole incident would have never happened... for people who didn't think steve should have done that than get a grip...go watch figure skating or gymnastics...

Remember that Yao and his parents have to adapt to a totally new country, new language, new culture, and new league. Amare's situation is tougher than most other NBA players, but so what. I don't think we should forgive Amare for his juvenile behavior on court.

well my GF of 6 yrs loves how steve francis is the heart of the team. her eyes were all lit up and smiling and thought steve was a little badass for doing that. WHY CATO DIDNT DO WHAT STEVE DID? cause cato wasnt in steve's position. amare was yelling steam all up on steve, walking into him. steve just stood his ground and his 2 foot perimeter " YOU BES' RAISE UP OFF ME PUNK!!" amare did his celebration all up on steve and was walking into steve
No one deserves any praise for doing what any upstanding citizen should be doing. Giving them any credit for staying out of jail is subliminal profiling (r word). Like you expect them to get into trouble. And I would surmise that quite a few NBA players come from broken homes. These same players repeat the cycle by spawning with multiple partners. Just dumb.

Yep. Anyone remember Chucky Atkins, Marbury, Randy Brown, Luke Ritenour, Raul Lopez, Tyron Lue? All those players got into Francis head. Those games were lost. The moment that Francis got into it with Amare, the team lost focus.
