First Nipsey and now Kobe. What a terrible last 12 months for California.

RIP Kobe Bryant. My condolences to his wife and children.

Hard to process. He was becoming a better and better person all the time. Just congratulated Lebron on his scoring record, always involved with his family, with sports media, with the league. Very impactful tragedy.

Wonder if the Rockets-Nuggets will have a moment at the game.

The Larry O'Brien ceremony won't be as joyous this year.

Really sad. He had a bright future even outside of basketball. Smart guy was writing books and trying to better people through self-help and positivity. Never trip on getting old, as tomorrow isn't promised.

What a shocking tragedy. Only 41 and widely admired by those who played with him and those who played against him. As a fan, I respected Kobe as a player, while wishing we didn't have to go up against him. Truly one of the greatest of all time.

A tremendous career, great wealth, still young. This is hard to believe.

Wow. Don’t care if he was the enemy on the court. Feel for his family. Rest In Peace Kobe. Your imprint on the game will last forever
