Harden is very streaky. He's a career 36 percent 3 pt shooter. That means he will have a week of shooting 40% from three and the next week he's shooting 30%. He's not Steph Curry. So yes, we have seen these shitty stretches from Harden all the time especially in the playoffs.
Yep. Ride the horse at full gallop through the desert. In this case, unlike the America song, the horse has a name, and it isn't set free, it lays there half-dead with a buzzard pecking at its carcass, Ren-and-Stimpy style.
This horse gets plenty of rest when the horse doesn't have the basketball in his hands. The horse gets to walk casually up the court both on transition defense and on offense. This horse barely moves his feet outside of iso dribbling.
You forgot to mention how the Horse been pulling the wagon alone for 7 years and the time he had help the other older horse broke down in one trip. If you’re gonna give him all the blame be prepared to give him all the praise.
You are correct. What kind of logic is that? Harden has not seemed like himself since the 1sr quarter vs Atlanta in 2020.
I agree. I don’t think he is. This recent stretch has been awfully concerning, though. Minimal effort on both ends of the court. I do expect him to bounce back, though.
This is the west. He misses extended time we might not even make the playoffs. Also who do we play? Ben mac? He sucks...
Many of these guys won't admit to being hurt and play through it, I thought he was as well judging from his sharp change in play. If he sits the odds of the team losing get worse. Hope he's doing his best to recover in between games if that's the case and we can mix things up to keep teams off balance and break this streak. Everyone needs to step up and find different ways to win however ugly.
Excuses. The Rockets reportedly had a players only meeting before the blazers game where he was apparently called out by some teammates. Since then he's been extra lethargic & a open door defensively. He's pouting (again)
As someone that’s played in high level competition I will say that people tend to underestimate how human people are. im sure many of you have felt “sore” or pulled or tweaked something and it bothers you for some time. Well think about athletes but they have to still push through it. sometimes these nagging injuries/pains can really take a toll on you spec in the NBA considering how active they are. Harden prolly isn’t getting the proper rest he needs cuz he’s such a baller. leonard could be onto something with “load management”. Not everyone’s bodies are created equal.
