Did it realy take you this long to come to this conclusion? JVG has the cure but will he use it at the end of this season, thats the big question? They have got to go!

I just have to say I am really in mourning over this loss. It was unbelievable to watch ... how can you not beat the pressure defense? This is an NBA team and they had 3 full quarters of it to figure it out ... how can you not get Yao the ball? That guy did everything he could to pull this team out of the hole it dug itself.
I really wanted that 6 game winning streak bad. Just pure ol' Cain selfishness, but I wanted it.
Sure, we missed Taylor and Weatherspoon, but we also missed Steve's shot and Cato's hustle. Nothing much went right last night except for the 3 point shooting and everything Yao did.

This is the same game replica of the Dallas game when we have a big lead and then, the rest of the team keep shooting from the perimeter. I really want to question them whether it is more important to win a game or their own stats. There is absolutely no reason to lose this game while we have a big lead, we are against the lowly Sun who have no real point guard and Center. We as a contrary, have a all star point guard who cannot handle the basketball and a all star 2nd best Center in the NBA right now who was not part of the offensive equation. The mentally of the Rockets play are very questionable and really driving the true Rocket fans into depression. Anyone who watch the game can come to a conclusion that none of us willing to pass the ball to Yao even though he has position. They would pass the ball from 30 feets away to someone who is going to jack up a brick, but they would not pass the ball to Yao who is 10 feet away and 5 feet from the basket. As you can see, the Rockets did not utilitze Yao most of the time in the game. Even in the 4th Qts, some of the Yao points were the put back from their misses.

How much longer that this pathetic dribblers are going to chase away the fans in Toyota Center. Look at 76er's, they finally understand IV will not help their team no matter how great his personal stats was, it will never buy them a freaking ring. How much longer the Rocket organization is going to wake up.

EXACTLY. Put them on the line for TWO free throws. We're up one, they have to foul us......then it's a matter of hitting our free throws......lather, rinse, repeat.

DAMN IT!

I usually go easy on our back court, but I guess it really hurts when you thought they were finally getting it and then they turned right back at you...

I hope they are just stupid or young or clueless or whatever, otherwise they will be labeled as selfish, and in that case, they must go.

Who I don't understand last night was MJ, JJ and Padgett, MJ, JJ usually pass the ball to Yao when he get his low position and it didn't happen after the first quarter... And Padgett, he acted like he belongs to the gang of Steve and Cat...

What happened last night really confuses me, it's like the whole team rejecting Yao :|

After checking out some of the efficiency stats, Yao's game against Atlanta (41pts, 16rbn, and 7ast) was ranked number one in efficiency points out of all players in the NBA this season. Wow

He is also ranked number 5 in efficiency points per 48 minutes behind Garnett, Ducan, Shaq and Brand.

    Yao has no clue

    Yao has no clue

Got a nasty facial from Amare, turned around like nothing happened. Didn't even TRY to help Steve who was standing up for him. Then slowly walked up court, put up soft shots again. Did an offensive put back, VERY softly. Oh yeah the couple of dunks, but they were as soft as any dunk can be. I mean this guy has no clue, why Americans make so much fuss about dunks??

troll. everyone else please don't reply to this, just call him for what he is. When you start dissing a man for "playing soft" after a 29/19/6 game, there's no other way to call him. You probably didnt even watch the game, just saw the dunks on the highlight films, or you wolda seen the way Amare got lit up on the defensive end. TROLL TROLL

The Rockets have lost twice on three pointers at the buzzer. Toronto. And this Phoenix game. Both games went into overtime and the Rockets lost. Damn. We could be in the 4th seed right now. That just pisses me off.

Yeah. That's what we did to Nash last week. Do you remember? Steve fouled Nash last seconds. Nash made Free Throw 1 0f 2 as we supposed. Then let the clock run out.

They didn't adopt the delaying tactic because they were always rattled&depressed in crucial time. I posted before that our Guard duo is immature in mentality. What we saw last night further confirm my conclusion! They often bonehead under the press.

Plus: When JVG was asked why the Rockets were so inept against the press last night, he said,

    "I don't know. It shouldn't be (so disruptive). I don't know."

Yeah. He don't know. But he still need to know something, right? ;)

Why the hell did you put both Yao and Steve on the bench in 2th Quarter? Why the hell did you even take NO tactic on Sun's traping defense? What the hell do you always waste precious TO in a dumb way? `inexcusable'!? aha

Wait, wait... I miss one point. The trap on full-court press really hurt us, man. We play as if we never learn about it. Shame!

Also it's NOT a secret that we've also struggled against small lineups. The situation become worse when Wetherspoon was absent because of some calf injury.

I rather Rockets to be in the 7th seed and face T-Wolves than Lakers, Kings and Spurs.

The rockets always forget to pick up the lethal weapon-- PASS
If no pass just dribble, that's street ball rather than NBA

It is so sad that I have got to the point to be shocked when Steve make the shot. What did his shot go? Where is his shooting touch? Maybe he need to take some lessons from Yao.

    I don't know about No. 1, 2 AND 4. but I agree with you on No. 3.
If Padget could had passed the ball to Yao at that situation, instead of waiting for offense to set, It would have been a good 'counter' to PHX's aggressive full-court-press defense. It could had change the game.

I don't think JVG is stupid. But, he needs to work more on PF, SF and bench players' passing to Yao (w/ the exception of JJ).

Yes. Spurs are looking like trash without Duncan, and they play a pivotal game against the Wolves soon. This could be important to who wins the Midwest Division. The Midwest Division leader plays the Rockets if the Rockets stay in the #7 seed. There's no way the Rockets want a piece of Shaq and Kobe in the playoffs if the Lakers get the #3 seed.
